We purchased April in June 2001 because we believed she has great potential and will help improve our herd; check out her pedigree below. April was bred to Flat Rocks Maxamillion and kidded triplets (2 bucks and a doe) on 9/01/03. See Highpoint Madame Pele, Highpoint Dain and Highpoint Durin in the Globe Trotters to see the quality kid she produces. On 9/20/03, April placed 1st in her class and was selected NDGA Grand Champion Milking Doe and was also given the Best Udder award at the Oklahoma State Fair. On 10/04/03 she was classified as Excellent and on 10/05/03, she was selected AGS Grand Champion Milking Doe and also given the Best Udder award at the Texas Caprine Club's Fall Extravaganza in Granbury, TX. April was bred to Beulah Land Jonathan and kidded one buck and one doe on 8/15/04. In 2005, April was bred to Briar Hill Sitting Bull and kidded 2 doelings on 7/25/05 (see Highpoint Adrahil and Annun in the Globe Trotters Section). On 8/27/05 she was Reserve Grand Champion doe at the Miniature Madness Marathon under judgge Suzanne McIntire. In April 2006, she was sold to Jan Nelson of Buffalo Clover Farms,and on June 30, 2007 she was Rserve Grand Champion Dry doe at TCC Summer Spectacular under judge Brian Cochard. She was repurchased in October 2008 and bred to Highpoint Arnoth. On May 11, April kidded two beautiful doelings; Araphor has been sold but Aldamir will be staying in our herd. On 9/25/09, April was Grand Champion Dry Doe at the Lone Star Goat show under judge Denice Hasty and on 9/26/09, she was Reserve Grand Champion Dry Doe at the TX State Fair under judge Renee Furst. On 5/22/10, at the HNDGA Spring Show, she was Reserve Grand champion Milking doe under judge Denice Hasty and on 5/23/10, she was Grand Champion Milking doe under judge Joe Pilotte. April was bred to Highpoint Arnoth in Oct. 2010 and kidded a single, flashy buckling on 2/26/11 (pictures of Arador to come).
